Fleet electrification playbook for logistics operators

Fleet electrification is an infrastructure project disguised as a vehicle purchase. The operators who succeed treat charging, energy supply, and route planning as the core workstream ... vehicles are the easy part.

Phase one: electrify predictable routes. Last-mile delivery with fixed depots and known daily mileage is the ideal starting point, because charging can happen overnight on managed schedules.

Phase two: build depot energy capacity. A 50-vehicle depot can demand more power than the local feeder supplies. Solar canopies, battery buffers, and smart load balancing let depots charge entire fleets without grid upgrades.

Phase three: scale regionally with corridor charging and telematics-driven dispatch. Our 200-vehicle logistics depot conversion completed the full transition in 18 months with zero missed delivery windows ... proof that sequencing, not technology, is the deciding factor.
